This is my entry for a DJ competition run by a forum that I use. Just under 40 minutes, as per the rules, the style is dubby US house.
I've been meaning to do a harder mix for a whil but never got round to it until now. I've gotta be honest and say I think this is the best mix I've done for ages - pure peak time dance floor music. Mostly all new stuff, there are a couple on there from a few months ago and a couple of classics re-done properly without turning them into electro-by-numbers shite... Song for Life by Leftfield & Give Me Luv from Alcatraz.
Been a while since I did a mix so here's the first of (probably) a few. Some really good vocal house stuff on here from the last couple of months, quite deep for the most part - featured classic track is right at the end - Mark Picchiotti's remix of Where Is The Love by Adeva from 1997 - tune.
The third - and probably the last - of my classic trance mixes, this one is more banging than the second which was quite laid back. Highlights for me are the first release by Gouryella, which I think is their best, and The Silmarillia by Carlos with it's funky flute :)
